The Commons Culprits provided a tougher start to the championship series, winning the opening game 7-6. Oakham recovered well from the defeat and responded by taking the next two games, completing a 2-1 series victory and becoming the first winners of the Lyrean Invitational.

Across the tournament, Oakham scored 43 goals. snw finished as the club’s leading scorer with 16, followed by iPlexity with nine, Goneguy5 with eight, teato with seven and RosePoop with three.

The tournament also gave Oakham an opportunity to test the squad against several of the stronger teams in the Lyrean hockey scene ahead of the IHL season.
